Austria produces tiny amounts of wine in comparison to most other producing countries but what it does produce is simply superb.

Crisp, dry, zesty Gruner Veltliner and Rieslings are sublime with refreshing nerve and edge and unctuous layers of fruit. These varieties are at the heart of this quality wine industry, however, we must not forget the red variety Blauer Zweigelt. The Blauer offers a wonderfully silky wine with layers of bramble, fig and spice.

Whilst the wines are not cheap, they do offer amazing value for money. If you are wanting serious quality, then you must give these wines a go!
