13/01/2012: Nose to Tail Tasting

Flinty Red invites you to its 3rd Nose To Tail Evening. This time it's pork and, by hook or by crook, we will endeavour to cook the little beast nose to tail and match each course with a selection of great European wine. Local butcher and meaty raconteur, Phil Noble of Buxton Butchers in Winterborne, will be here with half a pig carcass to butcher on the night. Swift with knife and sharp of tongue, he will be demonstrating the different cuts of meat and discussing the virtues of a well reared and happy animal. One of last year's most successful tastings, not to be missed. Tues 21st Feb, 7.30pm. £45pp. Reservation is by payment prior to the event.

The list is coming together for food and drink tastings for 2012 down at Flinty Red. Details will be available on this site and at www.flintyred.co.uk when they're finalised. We have some great treats including beer tasting, some great wine maker dinners and of course the old favourite: Nose to Tail.
