Corks of Cotham was established in 1993, Dominic and Rachel purchased the business in 2001.
Rachel Higgens has worked in the wine trade for most of her working life. Having started with Peter Dominic then several years at Oddbins managing some of the flagship stores before moving back to Bristol to buy Corks
Dominic Harman worked as a chef for 12 years before moving back to Bristol. Corks shop came on the market and was too good an opportunity to miss.
Adam Hedges has lived in Bristol since 2001, he started working for Oddbins that year and worked in all of the stores in Bristol and went on to manage several of them. Adam was made redundant in 2007 which turned out to be the best thing that has happened to him and has spent four happy years at Corks.
Faith Elkan spent 4 years studying Classics at uni - including an interesting year with Italian nuns - before returning to Bristol. Starting first in bar work before she found her calling in the world of wine and finally joined the Corks crew in May 2009
Beccy Massey spent 3 years studying Geography at Leeds University before working as a civil servant for 2 years. Having seen the light, she has joined Corks, bringing some muscle to the team!
